My party, the sp.a in Brussels, has published a magazine in English language introducing our priorities, our candidates and our projects for the region. As the party's candidate in Molenbeek, my task is to make sure these priorities also find their way to the local level in my commune! Click here to read 'Spots onBrussels'. At the forthcoming local elections in Molenbeek, I am running for a seat in the local council. You can find me on the 12th place of the LB (Lijst van de Burgemeester/Liste du Bourgmestre) I have made the following issues my absolute priority for Molenbeek: - a green and carfree center of Molenbeek, a meeting place for all the citizens of our commune - cleaner streets and parks - a safer city: through improved public infrastructure and police presence in the streets, by preference on bike! As an advisor to the Brussels Minister of Transport, Pascal Smet, I am very aware of the importance of close cooperation between the regional and the local level. That’s why I also want to make sure the principles that we have established at the Brussels regional level are also implemented in our commune: better public transport, increased road safety and easier bicycling. I hope that you will give me a chance on the 8th of October, and vote an enthousiastic youngster into the City Council of St-Jans-Molenbeek. Do not hesitate to contact me if you would like to hear more about my ideas and priorities for Molenbeek. |
